The plant species diversity on the campus of Changchun Normal University is relatively rich. Every year, campus greening leads to changes in some areas. There are over 91 common seed plants on campus, including 72 genera from 43 families. Among them, there are 10 common gymnosperms, 81 common angiosperms, 45 woody plants, and 46 herbaceous plants.
